Source notes and limits
- "THE PART NUMBER SHALL CONSIST OF THE BASIC MS NUMBER FOLLOWED BY A DASH NUMBER FROM TABLE I, FOLLOWED BY A PROTECTIVE COATING CODE." (Amendment 1, Requirement 6)
- Minimum tensile load 1,900 lb (Table I, 60,000 psi basis).
- Amendment (29 September 1999): "Z INDICATES ZINC COATING"; "NO CODE INDICATES CADMIUM PLATING" (code after the dash number, e.g. -201Z).
- Not a structural screw: the sheet title is carbon steel, cadmium plated; AC 43.13-1B 7-17 lists panhead machine screws MS35024 through MS35219 as "general-purpose screws used where head height is not important."
- Supersession: MS35206H, dated 14 JUNE 1991, is hereby canceled and superseded by NASM35206. The Part Identification Number (PIN) for MS35206H and the part number for NASM35206 are identical. The part numbers have not been changed. (MS35206H Notice 1, Notice of Cancellation (29 February 2000))
